This floral-powdery fragrance was released in 1996. Top notes are African orange flower and star Anise; middle notes are rose, violet, powdery notes and iris; base notes are almond, white honey, and leather. Drole de Rose treads the line between clean innocence and red lipstick temptress. It opens with the green and fresh accord of orange flowers and anise. It is lovely, refreshing and summery. The heart is not a typical powdery rose and iris but rather very gentle floral powdery scent with the green and tender violet accord.
