Powdered here with the bitterness of cocoa, sandalwood sinks deep into a velvet trap. It opens with smooth, slightly balsamic sandalwood, complemented by a jammy rose note. There is a slight booziness to the opening. Cacao adds warm, powdery sweetness after a little while. It becomes drier as it develops - the rose subsides and the cacao becomes more prominent. The cacao is more spicy than chocolate-like, but it adds a soft, warm, powdery, sweet-spicy quality that marries beautifully with the sandalwood.
